The Process That Is Followed While Using Batch Mixing Equipment

Batch mixers are those that allow the addition and mixing of all the ingredients of one batch before another can begin. The said ingredients are pre-set according to weight and quantity before they are put into the mixer. The process of the work slightly differs as per the kind of mixtures that need to be prepared, which are dependent on the kind of industry in which the mixing is being done.

In case of color concentrates

If there are color concentrates, they need to be added before the mixing cycle can be started by a dry powder mixer or any other batch mixing equipment for that matter. The idea is to ensure that all the material is thoroughly mixed up and evenly distributed to form a homogeneous blend.

In case of PVC end products like pipe and conduit

Such equipment is also useful in case of PVC end products. However, in such processes, resin has to be added to the mixer at higher temperatures. The mixture is then transferred to horizontal or vertical coolers.

In case of spices and food

Batch mixers are also used in the food industry. Additional paddle equipment is required to break down any clumps that may form during such food mixing processes.
